If you are ready to gain dive knowledge and supervision skills to become a role model to divers around the world, the Divemaster course is the place to start. This is the first professional level in scuba diving. As a PADI Divemaster you will supervise diving activities, assist with classes, and get paid to travel!

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. You develop the skills to organize and direct various scuba diving activities through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessments.

Prerequisites:

• Rescue Diver
• 40 logged dives,
• CPR and First Aid certification within 24 months

Knowledge Development

Through eLearning and hands-on workshops, you will learn about the role of a divemaster, how to supervise dive activities, the business of diving, dive setup and management, conducting dive briefings, and more. Once certified, you can independently teach snorkeling programs, Discover Local Diving experiences, Discover Scuba Diving events, and ReActivate sessions.

Equipment

Participants must have a regulator, computer, BCD, mask, snorkel, fins, SMB, signaling device, light, slate, and compass.
